I want to run both V4 and the prerelease V5 on my Mac. Is there an easy way to do this without them getting into conflicts?

Install the 5 prerelease as a portable install in a separate folder. You will need to set up your prefs, devices, etc again separately.

To make a portable install in OSX: make a folder (say "REAPER_portable"), create an empty file reaper.ini in this folder, drag-drop REAPER.app or REAPER64.app from the disk image (.dmg) into this folder. If you need the SWS extension for this portable install too: drag-drop the reaper_sws.dylib from the SWS' disk image to "REAPER_portable/UserPlugins" (do not use the install script for portable installs!).
