I can find where to do the color coding trick. -Open Color Palette Window -Hold all three modifiers (Command+Option+Control or Control+Alt+Win) -Click and drag anywhere on the Color Palette -As you move the mouse up, the whole channel strip takes on the track color Keywords: DigiSupKW DigiSupKW_Answerbase ; PlatformKW_Undefined ; ArticleID 24579 ; OldAnswerbaseID ; Now, Please, How do I undo it. I just want the bottom colored, like in normail operation. Thanks, Scott

And it's global feature. All my sessions now have some color and shine, but I only used this feature in one session.

Hi The only way to get back to the default color settings (ie: new tracks or new sessions) is to trash the PT 7.3 preferences file.javascript:void(0)

actually, you can just go into PT Prefs on the first page and select color by track type and it will go back to default - or you can just option click the track name to select all the tracks, then open the color window and click the default button. this will set everything back to normal. as stated above, you can remove the color by reversing the process of adding it. just click and drag down. You can trash prefs to get it back to normal, but you'll have to reset a lot of other things too. It seems much easier to me to just reassign the default.
