New song

Hi guys I've posted a new song on my SoundCloud if anyone wants a listen.. All recorded with a simple sm57 and in an acoustic punk rock vein. I mixed it very quickly and made a few small adjustments today with fresh ears.

Listening on my shitty PC speakers but sounding pretty good to me. cheers

Any feedback guys? Do you think there is enough urgency in the mix? Enough punch and power? Anything sound unbalanced?

It sounds well mixed to me. I'm not sure whether the vocals could be a tiny bit louder though.

sounds like the Violent Femmes with an edge, stress on edge. sounds great to me. song and mix.

I like it. One minor suggestion: Bring the voice forward(or the guitars back)at the moment the vo is overpowered by the guitar. I like the break at around 2:40. Nice job.

Great song. I find it a little bit monotonous though. The song could lift with more variation (pauses, more instrument, vocal harmonies etc).

Thanks for the feedback everyone All points taken on board. I've got vocal harmonies written so may overdub those soon and give the mix a couple of minor tweaks. Once again, thanks :)
