I'm trying to find a decent, affordable laptop to run protools 7 on. Does this look like a good one to get? If not can someone help me figire out what I need. I've been all over the digi and M audio sites but can't find any help. yeah that should be good enuf...but u can get a way more power DAW if u go for a desk top PC and build it urself...build a dual-core DAW u'll have much more fun!

Go for the Gateway AMD64 machines. They are the same as the emachines m68xx AMD64 series of laptops. And are proven workjorses and they have no compatabilty issues at all. I use an M6805 myself.
