Access Violation

I've been running protools 6.7 for a while now on my PC and for the first time today i recieved an "access violation" during startup during the DAE setup or right after the DAE setup. Pro tools then closes. I've never had this in years.. and it won't even start up now. anyone know what I can do?

Access violations can be caused by quite a number of different issues, including but not limited to, out of date plugins, using illegal ("cracked") versions of plugins, compressed files on the hard drive, hard drive errors, unsupported hardware, etc. So, some quick things to check;Make sure all of your plugins are up to date, valid versions make sure you are using the latest version of the PACE driver from check your hard drive for errors Check to make sure the drive is not full Check to make sure that the drive and/or it's folders has not been compressed (running the Windows "Disk Cleanup" on a drive can cause this) If you could please post a plugin list using the utility in the , That will allow us to identify any plugins that you have that may be causing this problem due to being out of date or unsupported.

I have reinstalled pro tools and I am still getting the error. I ran the utility with a fresh install and it lists a few preinstalled plugs. I have done disk clean ups on all my drives many times how would i undo that? i can post the plugin list if you still think i should it's just harder.. no internet on my PT comp. anyway.. thanks for the help.
