That is, of course, if your motherboard doesn't have incompatible chipset(s). You didn't post info about your motherboard, so... it's hard to say in that regard.

thank u for replying quickly:) I dont know what my motherboard chipset is do u know how I can retrieve the specs on it? Also I was thinking about buying altiverb 6 plugin I hear its the best do you know anything about it? best Mark
I know that Altiverb is argued as the best software plugin for reverb there is, except it's gunna be a big RAM and CPU hog (all reverb plugins are, especialy convolution), although I hear Altiverb is well-programmed and optimized. Never actually tried it, would kill to though. Haven't quite heard anything stand up to an outboard Eventide or Lexicon yet. IMO DisgustingVerb (DVerb) is simply dead-on-arrival period, TrueVerb is OKAY but sounds like youre always in a metallic room, RVerb is decent but produces some strange harmonic reflections, IR-L/1 is, for a convolution reverb, OKAY but not that impressive and sounds like RVerb, and TL Space is quite a passable convolution reverb (could care less for its rather fruity and bulky interface though). I commend Wave's for their no-frills and wonderful interfaces, and Altiverb's is equivalent... no-frills, but really well designed Um, if you're referring to formatting your slave drive to NTFS, I think you can do that from within Windows by right clicking the drive and going to Properties. Don't actually know for sure, never had a PC with 2 drives before
Before you get too excited about what plugs your going to buy you might want to make sure that your computers chipset is compatible with PT and that you the hard drives set up correctly.
