Hi, I am sure this topic has been covered before but I am struggling to find an answer. I have been using Repaer for a few weeks now with a focusrite 2i2 and had no problems but today I have tried tracking a bass guitar and a guitar through a zoom acoustic effects pedal direct into the Focusrite. All sounds great through the headphones and the recorded wave looks ok but when I play back, the tracks sound dreadful - tinny and distorted and not at all like that being monitored. I have selected the input as normal and I am not using any effects on the track. Can anyone think of a solution? It is very frustrating.

Thanks for the replies. It seems that the answer was more simple than I thought. A reboot of everything fixed the problem :)
