Took my 855 T5 to the garage the other day as I thought the turbo had gone er no the engine has gone. The garage did a compression test on all 5 cylinders one has 0 compression, reckon there is a hole in the piston. So after spending thousands on this car engine needs replacing not a happy bunny! Anyone selling a T5 engine? Or know the best place to get one?

Hi St5ve, Why is it a hole in the piston? Might be a burnt out valve? Did they look in the combustion chamber with a boroscope to confirm the hole? You could try Lea Valley Motors in Edmonton, London. 020 8345 5148 for an engine, I've found them quite helpful in the past. No doubt there's other Volvo specialist breakers about too, maybe more local to you. Or try putting a request on Breakeryard.
