Question for sampletank users....

This year, took the free upgrade to Sampletank SE from LE... Have always considered getting one of the expansiontank modules for LE. Would it work with SE? Any help appreciated, J.D

Samples and sounds made for sample tank will work on the different modules.

Do you currently have Sampletank 1 or 2 LE? I'm not sure if Expansiontank modules will work with Sampletank 1 LE, but Expansiontank disks do come with Sample Tank 2 LE. So if nothing, getting an Expansiontank disk will get you up to a newer version of Sampletank. (thats assuming you currently have Sampletank 1) If you have Sampletank 2 LE already, I'm assuming you should be good to go since Expansiontank comes with ST2 LE anyway. More info here.... and

vocalvoodoo whazzup! wow you have 707 posts over here that's impressive. i think you answered this question the best i could. nothing could hurt having a taste of sampletank2 with the expansions. FYI sampletank 2 is a totally different beast and you should probably consider upgrading your version regardless of the expansion tank stuff cause even if you have old sounds they will take on a new life in ST2. i hope i dont come off as a salesman here but I know others would vouche for me cause a long time ago I had sonic synth1(in the ST1 SE engine) and the day i popped those into ST2 everything took off for me, the whole production stuff started to make sense that week it was nuts. 2 Reasons to update: 1:) ST2 can layer sounds inside the plugin and 2:) it has a more potent selection of effects but i'll stop now. and i'll add 3 in for good measure:) way more control over your synth related controls(ADSRs, Filters, Stretch).
