Bought a full set of discs an mintex pads off the guy on ebay, seems OK- (x-drilled). Finally removed the rusted on front disc. But can anyone tell me the function of the bolt (took a 14mm socket) and thick washer that is in the centre of the hub, it seems to just pull the front hub onto the splined shaft. Does it need a correct torque to be applied.... as I removed it and it was very loose..

Not sure about that one mate, however, a word of friendly advice. I bought some drilled discs from the guy on ebay. Mine are Delphi/Lockheed. Now, i dont think Delphi/Lockheed make drilled discs in this price range because they have AP racing for that. Im guessing that they were drilled and slotted post factory. I dont see its a problem if its done right, and it seems to have been done right. Heres the FRIENDLY ADVICE though. I have had mine for 3 months and i have warped the front two. Take care to break them in properly and patiently.

Er,,,,, normally the hub doesn't need to be touched when changing the disc. But if it was loose then lucky you found it.
