Can't render in 88200?

Hey guys, for some reason no matter how many times I select "88200" in the render window, when REAPER actually starts rendering it renders in 44100. My project settings are set to 88200 as well. Any help would be appreciated, I'm what you could call a novice... Thanks! Cory
