002 Rack problem..please HELP

Search the duc for "power harness". Contact digi and they'll send you a new power harness free of charge right away.

Hi, I have also had this problem, and I track it down to the fact that my auto update, had down loaded Ser pack to. Look in your add and remove programs and delete anything that states Ser Pack 2. Also there is a package that stops Ser Pack 2 from being installed at the digi site. I have jsut solved this problem and it was a pain in the ass. Also try powering your rack after your computer has booted up. i am know facing DAE Errors 9092, if you can help, please let me know. All the best Mr Church

Damn! all was in wonderful working since yesterday... i have same problem. I install tree times my computer, try my digi002r on my laptop (wich i resintall system too...) i've tryed Cs7, Cs9 no changes my digi002r never be detected by my computers. I've emailed Digidesign but i live in France and i'm afraid that guarentee wil bee very very long... My Digi002r is 2 WEEKS OLD!!! EDIT : It seems to be an internal fire wire connection problem that Digidesign knows about happily my local agreed digidesign dealer will take my Digi002r in guarantee.

Hi, I've had this problem with three different 002 racks. If you get a hold of protools they will send you a new fire wire harness but when you put it in yourself you void your warrenty. your only otheroption is to send the unit in and replace the whole thing for a swap out . dont worrie its a quick turn around.
